January in Youth: Let’s Kick Off the New Year with Fun!
The end of 2025 feels extra special, and we’re so thankful for all the memories we made together this year. We can’t wait to make even more in the months ahead. January is bursting with fun, learning, and giggles for babies through fifth graders! We’ve got some super-special storytimes this month – like a Fire…
We have bilingual storytimes!
To reach even more of our patrons, diversify our programming, and give patrons opportunities to learn about different languages, songs, crafts, and cultures, we are excited to now offer regular bilingual storytimes.
Celebrate Diwali
Diwali is a special five-day holiday known as the Festival of the Lights. It is a very important holiday in the Hindu religion and in India, but it is also celebrated all over the world by people of different religions. Here at the library, we are so excited to celebrate Diwali with you! We will have amazing performers, crafts, and activities for families. We hope you’ll join us on from 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4.
Hispanic Heritage Month
From September 15 to October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the history, cultures, and contributions of Americans with Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean, Central, and South American ancestry. We’re here to connect you with books and learning experiences celebrating Hispanic heritage throughout the year. You’re invited to join us at a program, check out books by Latin American and Hispanic authors, and delve into resources that explore the achievements of Hispanic communities across the United States.
