Be the Next New Business Success Story

The Village of Mount Prospect is seeking new businesses – and the Mount Prospect Entrepreneurs Initiative (MPEI) can help! The MPEI is a collaboration between the Village of Mount Prospect, Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce, Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association and the Mount Prospect Public Library focused on helping new or prospective businesses in Mount Prospect by providing a package of innovative economic development resources. Tools to help ensure business success in Mount Prospect – education, mentoring, marketing opportunities and contact with successful existing business owners – will be available through this program.

For more information, contact Business Reference Librarian Joe Collier (MPPL) at 847.253.5675, Nellie Beckner (Village of Mount Prospect) at 847.818.5312, or Dawn Fletcher Collins (MP Chamber of Commerce) at 847.398.6616.

You can also have the latest MPEI happenings delivered straight to your inbox by subscribing to our e- newsletter HERE.

If you’re a budding entrepreneur or fledgling small business owner, it can be helpful to get advice and hear the experiences of those more seasoned, successful business people who have gone before. The MPEI helps address this need by offering programming throughout the year in its Access to Advisors track (subscribe to our e- newsletter HERE and stay informed of program dates and times).

Sometimes, however… you just can’t make it, but you don’t want to miss out on the chance to get up close and personal with these business community leaders. Now, thanks to the MPEI Podcasts you don’t have to! Just click through to our MPEI Podcasts page at the Village of Mount Prospect website HERE (or anywhere it says MPEI Podcasts) and you’ll find a wealth of digitized local business acumen, uploaded and organized for you to listen and learn at your convenience!

Subscription databases are accessible from within the Library or if noted, at home or remotely with a registered MPPL library card. Click Here to view our Databases.
