Come and help us tell our story! The Mount Prospect Public Library seeks a Content Coordinator to join the Communications and Creative Services Department. We love sharing our passion for libraries with our community, are you able to assist us in continuing to achieve our goals? Work closely with our communications team and play a key role in scheduling, facilitating, and posting content to our marketing and social media channels. We need a team player that loves libraries, keeps on top of current trends and popular culture, connects and communicates easily with all levels within our organization, and is proficient in project management, social media, and technology. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, innovative, and has a strong attention to detail. This position reports to the Communications and Creative Services Department Head.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 3-5 years’ experience managing a corporate, government, or non-profit social media presence. Highly computer literate. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Hands on experience and proficiency with popular content management/project management systems such as Airtable, WordPress and HootSuite.
SALARY: $42,000 to $50,000 per year (The final offer may be within this range based on competencies, experience, and internal equity)
